Lost River Beer Battered Onion Rings

Cut 4 medium size onions into slices - 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch thick

(approx. 2 lbs.)

Mix 1 cup dry mix with 1 1/4 cup beer or water until smooth. 

Dust sliced onions with dry breading mix first. 

Next dip into wet, beer batter. 

Shake off any excess batter  - it should NOT be too thick!

Place 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch oil in skillet.

Heat oil to 350 to 375 degrees or medium high.

Fry until batter turns a golden brown and CRISPY~CRUNCHY delicious!

Let onion ring begin to float before turning to other side.
